The Duck Flower, often referred to simply as “The Duck,” is a unique flower traditionally used in certain Central American herbal practices as a short-term cleansing experience.
This is known as an intense cleanse designed to stimulate the body’s natural elimination processes. It is not a mild herbal tea — it is a powerful experience.
🌿 What to Expect
The Duck Flower cleanse is strong and fast-acting. Many people report several hours of deep cleansing activity, typically lasting 3–5 hours, sometimes longer.
Common experiences may include:
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Frequent bowel movements
• Stomach discomfort
• Sweating
• Temporary flu-like symptoms
This is considered part of the cleansing process.
⚠️ This is an advanced cleanse and is not recommended for beginners, pregnant or nursing women, individuals with medical conditions, or anyone unsure about intense detox protocols.
Hydration is extremely important.
💧 WHEN TAKING “THE DUCK,” DRINK PLENTY OF SPRING WATER OR COCONUT WATER.
STAY HYDRATED.
🥥 Preparation
It is commonly recommended to prepare the body beforehand by consuming primarily liquids or fruit for at least 3 days prior to taking The Duck.
📌 Instructions:
1️⃣ Soak both duck flowers in spring water for 1 hour.
2️⃣ Blend the flowers with the same water they were soaked in.
3️⃣ Drink the entire mixture.
You may mix it into a smoothie or cold-pressed juice if desired. Oranges are commonly used.
