Our Batana Oil comes from Honduras. The oil is extracted from the American Palm Tree (Elaeis Oleifera). The indigenous people of Miskito produce the oil and are called the “Tawira”, meaning people of beautiful hair. They have been using this oil for hundreds of years. The scent of the oil is sort of an earthy smell and will catch you off guard at first. I would say that it resembles the smell of coffee. The oil is familiar in texture to coconut oil the way it gets slightly solid at room temperature and liquefies in warmer temperatures. The oil’s composition imparts qualities similar to Olive Oil, as it has high levels of oleic and linoleic acid with lower levels of palmitic acid and other saturated fatty acids.
Batana oil is for more growth and strengthening of hair as well as less breakage, shinier, fuller and an overall healthier hair. Batana Oil is 100% pure and natural and free from any dyes, additives or fillers. It is pure Batana oil in its raw form. We are honored and privileged to offer this product and information to all who want to repair and grow their hair safely, quickly and naturally.
